Intermediate-level Conversation about traveling

Alex: Hey, Jordan! I heard you just got back from your trip to Spain. How was it?

Jordan: It was amazing, Alex! Spain is such a vibrant country. The food, the culture, the architecture – I loved everything.

Alex: That sounds wonderful. Did you visit any particular cities?

Jordan: Yes, I spent a few days in Barcelona and then went to Madrid. In Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell were my favorites. Gaudí's work is just fascinating.

Alex: I can imagine! And how about Madrid?

Jordan: Madrid was incredible too. I enjoyed visiting the Prado Museum and strolling around the Retiro Park. The city has a lively atmosphere, especially at night.

Alex: Did you manage to try any local dishes?

Jordan: Definitely. I had paella in Barcelona, which was delicious. And in Madrid, I tried churros with chocolate. I must say, I'm going to miss the food there.

Alex: Sounds like you had a great time. Do you have plans for another trip soon?

Jordan: I'm thinking about it. Maybe exploring Asia next. Have you traveled anywhere recently?

Alex: Not as exciting as your trip, but I did visit my family in Canada. It was nice to catch up with everyone.

Jordan: That sounds lovely. Sometimes, spending time with family is all the adventure you need.
